Lectture
This class we learn about the Principles underpinning composition , when we shoot something we need focus on the Principles underpinning composition of a picture , it will makes picture better.
Instructions
Exercise 4: Composition
Exercise 4b: Principles underpinning composition
Capture 4 Images adhering to any of the mentioned principles below:

Domination/Emphasis • Isolation • Balance • Repetition
Alignment • Contrast • Rhythm • Symmetry/Asymmetry
Harmony • Perspective
(Put to use what you have learnt in the Zone system exercises here)
Exercise 4: Composition(shoot in school)

Exercise 4b: Principles underpinning composition(shoot after class)
 Isolation
f:5.6  shutter speed:1/1000  ISO:400

f:5.6  shutter speed:1/1600  ISO:400
zone 6
Feedback
Reflection
Experience:Before the picture I shoot in school there always someting wrong with it but before the class finish I Think I understand it
Observation:When people shoot the picture we have to make sure there is nothing to interference the picture
Findings:Before I have no ideal when we take picture there are so many  Principles underpinning composition to ues and I believe that I after that Ican take more beautiful picture

Exercise 4a: Rule of Thirds
Lecture
In this class I know that when we shoot a picture I shouldn't put the object in the middle. In fact there nine parts in a picture, there are two horizontal lines and two vertical lines divide the image into nine parts on average. If you want people pay attention on one object you should put the subject near by the cross of line. If you want have a picture of scenery you should try to put subject on the line.
Instructions
Exercise 4a: Rule of Thirds
Capture 3 Images adhering to the Rule of Thirds
Using 1 person
Using 3 persons
Using a scenery

When placing the image in your blog and your MS Word document; (see image) place one image with the Rule of Third lines visible and another without the lines side by side - left and right of each other

Put to use what you have learnt in the Zone system exercises here.

Your results must show evidence of knowledge and ability to use the Rule of Two-Thirds under the prescribed circumstances. Evidence of composition enhanced by proportional cropping is acceptable in order to heighten the dynamism or intensity of the picture. Students must showcase their knowledge on exposure using the zone system.

This is not a technical exercise; merely fulfilling the rule of thirds theory without capturing a well composed image with a strong point of interest would not be considered successful. You must capture a beautiful image by adhering to the rule of thirds.

(Check the resources out in the comment section for additional learning)

Exercise 4a: Rule of Thirds
 1 personshutter speed 1/1000  f:8  ISO 800

Using 3 personsshutter speed 1/250  f:8  ISO 400

Using a sceneryshutter speed 1/1600  f:8  ISO 800

Feedback
Reflection
Experience -In fact I can't understand three person picture and I have no ideal I did right or wrong
Observation -In this way my find say it is look better than before and it real help people pay attention on the object which I want them pay attention
Findings -When I take  scenery picture it is real better but I can't find a very nice scenery to shoot, but i believe that when i shoot scenery picture i can do better than before

Exercise 3: Zone System
Exercise 3b: The Ansel Adam's Shot
Lecture
when we want to take a picture with different zone , we can not decide how we set our shutter speed ,then we need focus one subject you very interest in , fllow that subject shutter speed, then can find a nice picture.
Instructions
Exercise 3: Zone System
Exercise 3b: The Ansel Adam's Shot
Choose an image worthy of being called an Ansel Adam's shot (Still Life, Landscape or Portrait). Sketch and write down the perceived zones in the desired image and indicate the ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed used. Identify the point of interest and state the exposure settings recommended by the camera light meter and your improved settings upon using the zone system.
Students must show evidence of using the Zone System. Student must produce 1 black & white image that captures depth and richness in tonal value by capturing High, Middle and Low zones while maintaining details (texture and tone) in the dark and light areas of the image.
Mahesh post the shot from the stairwell in the comment section.
Exercise 3:

f:4  shutter speed 1/2500  ISO 400

f:5.6  shutter speed 1/1250  ISO:400(focus sky)

f:5.6  shutter speed:1/1000  ISO:400(focus mid building)

f:5.6  shutter speed:1/2500  ISO:400(focus building)

f:5.6  shutter speed:1/2000  ISO:400(focus teacher)

f:16  shutter speed:1/100  ISO:400(focus building)

f:8  shutter speed:1/640  ISO:400(focus building)

Feedback
Reflection
Experience -we went out and shoot and we can ask question when we shoot , that is a very good experience
Observation - when people chose different point to focus , the shutter speed will change but show from the picture is not that clear like we imagine
Findings -when i learn this i think i can take more zone picture.

Exercise 3: Zone System
Exercise 3a: High, Med and Low Zones

Lecture

For black and white photo, more zone show the picture better, and when we take the picture the camera always show the shutter speed a good time for take a clear picture but it maybe not the true speed , because the color will change. After this class i know how to take the real color picture and there are nine zones for a photo.
Instructions

Exercise 3: Zone System
Exercise 3a: High, Med and Low Zones
Having learned that the camera light meter is dumb, because it gives you an average or optimized (middle grey; zone 5) exposure irrespective of the subject matter, execute the plan below to prove the theory and record you thoughts on the matter in your eportfolio.
...
Exercise 3a: High, Med and Low Zones
1. Identify and capture three different subject/scenes comprising of High, Medium and Low Zones.
2. Take two images for each subject/scene; one exposure according to the camera's light meter; and the other according to the zone you believe the scene falls within.
3. Ensure that the subjects/scenes you choose for each zone area (High, Medium and Low) have a good range of tones within that zonal area.
All pictures must be in black and white. Use only sun light (direct or indirect) as source.

Exercise 3a(high)
PIC1. ISO:400  f:16  shutter speed 1/320

PIC2. ISO:400  f:5.6  shutter speed 1/1600

Exercise 3a(Med)
PIC1. ISO:400  f:16  shutter speed 1/640

PIC2. ISO:400  f:16  shutter speed 1/320
Exercise 3a(Low)
PIC1. ISO:400  f:5.6  shutter speed 1/2000

PIC2. ISO:400  f:5.6  shutter speed 1/1000
Feedback
Reflection
Experience - when we take picture flow the shutter speed which the camera gives us, the picture will become clear but the color will change, if we want to find the real color we have to use zone
Observation - Find the right zone seem simple but hard, because sometime I change the shutter speed but the picture didn't show the right color
Findings - when we watch picture we need to find out what is real, sometime you cannot find the right color in a photo
